Our Approach

At MING, we collaborate with senior leaders, driving social impact, to develop tailored strategies to accelerate and smooth the journey of transforming goals into impact. We work closely with senior leaders to design and implement bespoke strategies that resolve the thorniest management, strategy, talent, and operational challenges a leader is facing. By resolving these challenges during a MING engagement, we enable the leaders we work with to heighten performance and drive deeper impact. 


During a MING engagement, we partner with senior leaders to identify challenges, create space for reflection, and design and implement effective and measurable strategies for change. In addition, as part of a MING engagement, we design a recommended strategy leaders can utilize to support the ongoing implementation of newly developed solutions. This ensures that new solutions can continue to be implemented sustainably, independent of an engagement with MING.

MING’s 5-Step Process for Transformation

In all of our engagements, the MING team serves as a thought partner, advisor, and facilitator to create spaces that enable clients to identify, assess, collaborate, and address their thorniest challenges.  We provide the additional support leaders and enterprises need to implement and sustain new solutions that lead to deeper impact. At MING, we ensure that in our work, we are identifying and addressing the visible and less visible challenges that may be preventing our clients from achieving their goals. And we do this by utilizing MING’s 5-Step Process for Transformation (5SPT). 

  • The engagement begins with the MING Team collecting information, conducting interviews with key stakeholders, and facilitating discussion to enable leaders to engage in inquiry and self-reflection to better understand the visible and invisible causes of challenges. 


  • Once the Discovery process is completed, we assess the information provided by the client and other stakeholders, identify our own insights, and finalize members of the MING Collective to join the MING Engagement Team.

  • The MING Engagement Team collaborates with the client to finalize engagement goals and success metrics. Utlizing information gathered during the Discovery process along with the MING Engagement Team’s experience and knowledge of best practices the MING Engagement Team designs and holds space to engage in discussions and collaborative thinking to begin crafting bespoke strategies to resolve the identified challenges.

  • The MING Engagement Team leads the process of creating an implementation plan that proactively identifies potential hurdles to rollout and creates preemptive and responsive mitigation strategies. The MING Team also works closely with the client to advise on the creation of an internal communication plan, and supporting materials and to create a strategy to ensure newly implemented changes can be sustained independent of an engagement with MING.

  • The MING Engagement Team supports the client during this phase by preparing senior leaders for implementation, closely monitoring rollout, holding space to capture learnings and recommending strategies to pivot appropriately as needed.
